# (2025-11-05) Vilas' Notes on His Release ([[Vimokkha]]) 🙏🙏🙏

Dear Dhamma Friends,
This morning, after a quiet conversation with Shainiel on the theme of bonding and circularity — how the mind keeps recreating its own loops, something profound unfolded.
There was a sudden loosening, a releasing, followed by a deep emptiness — the kind that is neither gained nor lost, only known through direct cessation.
That very stillness is what the Buddha called “vimokkha” — release, the ceasing of saṅkhāras.
Over the past five months, the practice has been ripening through six insights — each one dissolving a layer of becoming. Today, the circle seems to have closed; not in completion, but in freedom.
Letting go of attainment — realizing the anutpāda Nibbāna dhātu, the unconditioned element beyond arising.
Seeing things precisely as they are — yathābhūta-ñāṇadassana, vision unclouded by craving or view.
Ceasing the machinery of conditioning — the silent ending of paṭiccasamuppāda.
Dissolving the reflective consciousness — the dimming of anidassana viññāṇa, the non-manifest awareness.
Releasing even the witness itself — viññāṇa-nirodha, the fading of the observer.
Abiding in the field of emptiness — suññatā-bhūmi, where no further step remains.
If this stillness sustains in the months ahead, it will mark not an achievement but an extinction — the quiet end of the engine of becoming, the waning of saṁsāra itself.

如实见 — yathābhūta-ñāṇadassana(如实智见)— 以不为贪爱或见解所染的视野,如其本然地看见诸法。
止息缘起的机械 — 那无声的 paṭiccasamuppāda(缘起) 的终止。
(解释:paṭiccasamuppāda 为「缘起法」:此有故彼有,此无故彼无。当缘起的连锁反应止息,苦的循环亦灭。)
融解反照的识 — 即那 anidassana viññāṇa(无相识、不可示识) 的黯淡。
