good evening / morning dear dhamma friends,
Wanted to share information on how to be in nibbana, here and now using Etan Santan Etan Panitan
> [!quote] ([[Etam Santam|source]])
> _Etam santam etam panitam
> Yadidam sabba sankhara samatho
> Sabb'upadhi patinissago
> Tanhakkhayo, virago, nirodho, nibbanam_
**Explanation:**
- This is peaceful and this is excellent
- ONLY WHEN all ***sankhara's*** (mental choices / formations / willful actions) are tranquilised
- When ==all experiences (herein referred as **"assets"** which include relationships, money, titles, land, experiences through senses==) are dislodged
- One can see lessening of craving which then removes colouring (*virago*) and is **ceased** which is Nibbana
###### More explanations:
Let us consider a movie or a theatre performance or a drama etc., which is what "sankhara's" are all about. One keeps on doing one or other kind of abhi-sankhara which leads to experiences which he keeps on storing and grasping to it. ==What if he or she is able to see this **futile** attempt to store these experiences and instead let it go which then becomes **"asset free"**.==
this state is the supreme state to be in "parama atta" or the ultimate state, but should not be misunderstood to be a place out there somewhere where one reaches. It is all about giving up this sharp 6 LED glowing lights which comes through each senses around the sense objects and then, immediately ==the light of wisdom comes which is far brighter than these 6 LED lights and hence stops all sankhara's at once==
That means, the actor and action is fully seen and hence there is no attachment to either the actor or the action and let's go of it just like an actor in a drama or theatre or movie fulfils what ==the character which is scripted to do, but does not think or feel that it is he/she for real==. This then removes all experiences at once which makes him "asset free" or stopping to go behind experiences.
When that happens, what he was seeing as "techni-colour" is now transformed into frame by frame format as in slow motion of a movie and removes the "raga" or colouring of it. With that happening, craving is lost and hence no colour. Without Craving and Colouring, there is nothing to experience and hence "nirodha" which means, cessation. With cessation, in place, one is in nibbana right here and right now
